FAQs & Policies

What vaccinations and paperwork does my dog need prior to boarding?

We require the following records to ensure the safety of all dogs

-Rabies Certificate
-Distemper
-Bordetella

Copy of the current dog license

Can you and/or your dog visit the facility before making a reservation?

Yes! We request that you schedule a tour without your dog prior to bringing him or her in for the first time. If you are comfortable with what you see, we will move forward and schedule your pup’s Get Acquainted. The Get Acquainted is a one hour drop off session at no charge. Your dog will experience a condensed version of a day here at the Inn, making the first overnight less stressful. All vaccination and license information is due at the Get Acquainted appointment.

What is the biggest size dog you can accommodate?

We are able to accommodate very small to very large dogs together or individually. X-Large runs are limited and are booked on a first come first serve basis. It is best to come tour the facility to ensure you are comfortable with the run sizes for your pet. If you have questions, please give us a call or send an email.

Can my dog be picked up or dropped off outside of normal hours?

If you are unable to pick up or drop off your pet during regular hours, an off hours fee of $20 will be applied. All off hours pick ups and drop offs are by appointment only.

What happens if my pet has special food/medication requirements?

If your dog has specific food and/or medication requirements please indicate on the intake form. Also let us know in advance so we can go over the instructions. We can certainly accommodate special meal prep and/or medications at no additional charge. Please note we DO NOT administer injectable medications.

What if my dog is not spayed or neutered?

Unaltered dogs are welcome at the Inn. However, they are not permitted in group play over the age of 8 months old.

What if my dog does not get along with other dogs?

Dogs that do not get along with other dogs are welcome at the Inn. They will receive one on one play sessions with staff.

Can someone else pick up/drop off my dog?

Yes, we just ask that you provide us with the name and phone number of the person arriving to pick up or drop off your pet. You are also responsible to give them instructions on hours, where to park and directions to the doorbell to let us know they are here.

What can I expect after boarding my dog?

All dogs will experience some level of stress and/or excitement when going home. For this reason we do not feed them before departure to avoid GI upset. Make sure to let your dog settle in at home for at least an hour before feeding.

It is important to remember that your dog was very busy during their stay with us so once they are home, they will want to catch up on sleep. Sometimes they only need a few hours after pick up, but it is not uncommon for your dog to sleep the entire rest of the day or even be a bit lazy the day after. Just like when we need a day of rest after our own vacation

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policies are in place in order to avoid the scenario where people may cancel or change their reservation at the last minute, or simply do not show up. This would not be fair to the clients we have turned away due to no vacancy.

Cancellations or changes to boarding reservations can be made up to 1 week prior to drop off. Cancellations with less than 1 week notice are subject to a fee of 50% of the reserved dates. Changes made to the reservation after check in will result in charges for the originally reserved dates.

Cancellations or changes to daycare must be made by Sunday for the upcoming week. Cancellations made after Sunday will result in an invoice for the cancelled or missed day(s).

Forms of payment

We accept all major credit cards, personal/business checks and cash.
